Working in a school that offers the Primary Years Programme means carefully developing #school #policies that must be aligned with the Mission Statement of the IB. One of the most sensitive policies to develop is the Inclusion Policy. Choosing the right #activities to support it in the school setting is always a challenge.
On invitation of Здружение СОЛЕМ/Association SOLEM, on 26.10.2022 and 27.10.2022, a small group of students from International School Maximilian participated in art workshops with children from Demir Kapija Institution. Throughout art workshops, children had the opportunity to understand the benefits of living in a community vis a vis living in an institution.
As educators, it is our obligation to create communities that will offer equal opportunities to all children.
